Seven games, seven wins. That’s how dominant the New York Islanders have been lately. What three players have stood out in that winning streak?

We often talk about the success the New York Islanders are having as a team. The team won seven games in a row. The team is doing well. And that’s certainly true. It’s the way Lou Lamoriello wants it. After John Tavares left, the first thing that Lou said was that players win games, but teams win championships. Here’s the full quote:

"Teams win, not players. Individual players win some games, but teams win championships. And that’s what we have to create.- Lou Lamoriello"

In two years on the Island, it’s clear that he’s created that ethos for his team. There’s no doubt that the Islanders are successful because they play as a team. They’ve won seven games straight this season because they play as a team and not as individuals. But I want to focus on individuals for a second. Who’s stood out during this seven-game streak? What three players have been the most impressive during this winning spree that has made the Isles the hottest team in the NHL as we head into November?
