Potential Lineups

New York Islanders

Michael Dal Colle is day-to-day after taking an awkward hit against the Buffalo Sabres. Which is unfortunate for the former fifth overall pick. He was playing his best hockey in a long time against the Buffalo Sabres. It would have been great for him to be able to build on that performance. He’ll have to wait to do so.

Leo Komarov gets placed in Dal Colle’s spot next to Brock Nelson and Anthony Beauvillier. Leaving Anders Lee, Derick Brassard, and Jordan Eberle to anchor the Isles third line.

On defense, Nick Leddy is back next to Johnny Boychuk so it looks like the veteran lefty is healthy.

Nashville might not be playing well at the moment but they still have a lot of quality up and down the lineup. They’re solid down the middle, they have a good top four on the blueline, and Pekka Rinne is typically good for a 0.918SV%.

The New York Islanders can’t sleep on the Nashville Predators or they’ll suffer the same fate their cross-town rivals suffered just last night.
