It wasn’t a great week for the New York Islanders, but there were still a number of good individual performances for the team.

There were four games this week, the New York Islanders dropped three of them (two in regulation). Making things worse was the number of goals that were scored against the Isles.

Over the four games, the Islanders gave up 19 goals, an average of 4.75 per game. For a team known for its strong defensive play, their displays of late have been shocking.

The Christmas break couldn’t have come at a better time for the Islanders. They could use this period to reset, recharge, and figure out what they need to do differently.

Looking back over the week leading up to the festive period, who stood out as a winner and who was a loser for the Islanders?
