There isn’t anything more exciting than a goal. As the 2010’s come to a close, here are the top five goals from the New York Islanders over the last ten years.

There hasn’t always been a reason to get up out of your seats and cheer for the New York Islanders. For a large part of the decade, the Islanders just weren’t a winning team.

Over the last ten years, the Islanders made the playoffs four times. Again, for a majority of the decade, the Isles weren’t good.

But strewn about the decade are a number of exciting and important goals. Goals that got you right out of your seat. Goals that were not only pretty but meant something to the fans, or the organization, or both.
