Taylor Hall

It’s been a very strange season for Taylor Hall and the Buffalo Sabres. He has just two goals in 26 games after scoring 16 in 65 while putting up 52 points the year prior. Right now, Buffalo is a dumpster fire so I wouldn’t look at the lack of goals as a detractor.

Hall is on a one-year $8 million deal, so it would essentially be a rental for the Islanders. It makes perfect sense with their situation after the Lee injury

Two second-rounders should be enough to get it done and to save Taylor Hall from the wreckage up in Buffalo. From there, the team would have to do a little work with the cap to make the rest of his cap figure work.

They can do this by waiving Leo Komarov and moving Ross Johnston and Austin Czarnik to the taxi squad.

The Lineup:

Hall – Barzal – Eberle

Beauvillier – Nelson – Bailey

Bellows – Pageau – Wahlstrom

Martin – Cizikas – Clutterbuck
