Here’s a look at all of the pending unrestricted free agents in the New York Islanders system. Who are they and can/will the Islanders keep them?

The New York Islanders are going to have a busy offseason. Expansion draft, entry draft, and then free agency. It’s going to be one heck of a grind.

Let’s focus on the free-agent part of the offseason and specifically the unrestricted free agents on the team. Who are they? Do the Islanders want to keep them? And, more importantly, can they?

First, when is free agency this year? Usually, it’s on July 1, but with the Stanley Cup Finals still happening that’s not going to work. The NHL knew that would be the case and scheduled the first day of free agency on July 28.

So, the Islanders, and their various pending-unrestricted free agents have a month to figure things out. Now, like I said, who are these free agents? I broke down the list into two tiers; regular roster and non-roster players.
