This one is really bad. Like, I’m genuinely not sure I’ve seen a worse Armchair-GM in my life and that’s saying something because I was a full-blown addict on that site for the month of July and read many Armchair-GM proposals.

RFA Signings:

Anthony Beauvillier – 2-years $4.25 million AAV

Ilya Sorokin – 2-years $3.5 million AAV

UFA Signings:

Zach Parise – 1-year $2 million

Kyle Palmieri – 2-years $3.5 million AAV

So many thoughts. The RFA’s I’m not going to touch because they’re really not that far off other than the term on Beauvillier. As for the UFA’s, Parise’s cap number is way too high, and Palmieri’s is about $1 million too low and two to three years too short.

Where is Casey Cizikas? He is due for a six-year $2.5 million AAV deal. Where is Travis Zajac? What about Kieffer Bellows or any of the other RFA’s?

As for the lineup (brace yourself):

Lee – Barzal – Bailey

Beau – Nelson – Palmieri

Komarov – Pageau – Panik

Parise – Wahlstrom – Clutterbuck

Pelech – Boychuk

Hickey – Pulock

Aho – Mayfield

Final Grade: F
