The New York Islanders offense is dead. Actually, dead may not be harsh enough of an explanation for this offense. In their past 11 games, they have one goal or less in seven of them. That’s impressively bad.

Over the past few games,  the Isles have tried to play with the lineup but even still that hasn’t worked. Oliver Wahlstrom made his long-awaited return and Josh Bailey got bumped up to line one but it wasn’t enough.

Also, Mitch has some things to share from his prospect coverage. Here’s what you can expect from episode 193:

Topics

The Offense is cooked

The Isles haven’t scored a 5v5 goal in three games and they have one goal or less in seven of 11. That’s just about as bad as it gets.

Lineup

The Travis Zajac experiment up top ended. Braydon Coburn needs to go back to the scratchpad, and Oliver Wahlstrom is finally back. What’s next?

Down on the farm

Mitch will get into an interview he did this week and discuss prospects from all around the world.

Quiz

Mitch is going to quiz me on someone who played 193 games in an Islanders sweater. This guessing game rarely goes well.
