The Eyes on Isles podcast on a Monday? Yep, with the NHL shutting down the New York Islanders we didn't want to wait anymore. It took Gary Bettman and company until Casey Cizikas was added to the COVID list as apparently a week of COVID positive tests weren't enough for the league to step in.

Mitch and I will get into the league's decision to shut it down as well as the Islanders losses since the last time we spoke as the losing streak is now up to eight games.

Also, we are going to get into who the Islanders have missed the most during their losing streak. Obviously being down upwards of nine people between COVID and injuries to Ryan Pulock and Brock Nelson has been a massive reason for the step backwards over the last couple of weeks.

Mitch will also have some info on Islanders prospects for down on the farm and we'll get into what's trending on Isles Twitter. Here's what you can expect from episode 224:
