February 28th, 2017 will go down as the day that broke Isles Twitter. A day filled with New York Islanders rumors and drama.

It started it out with a bang. The New York Islanders called up their dynamic, and polarizing prospect Josh Ho-Sang. It was a move that definitely came as a surprise. Every single step of the way it seems like the Isles do everything in their power to try to avoid promoting Ho-Sang.

When it finally happened today, Isles Twitter was ecstatic. He’s very popular amongst the Isles Twitter community, especially the bloggers. Anyway, it was just cool to see him finally get that opportunity.

Although that didn’t last long. He was sent back down just a few short hours later.

When Staple tweeted this out the fans went into an uproar. Twitter was buzzing with everyone’s two cents on who the Isles were going to trade with. Naturally, everyone pointed back to Matt Duchene and it wasn’t unrealistic to think that.

Andry Graziano said that Garth Snow offered two variations to Colorado for Matt Duchene. The move would be huge if the Isles pulled it off so naturally, hysteria overcame Isles Twitter.

It got to the point when we were seriously tracking the Islanders plane to see if and when an announcement would happen.

Of course, no announcement was actually made but the pure drama was better than anything you will see on your favorite scripted reality television show.

Oh and I almost forgot, apparently, teams are interested in Jaroslav Halak.

So a quick recap: The Islanders called up and sent down Ho-Sang, Snow matched what Colorado wants in return for Duchene, teams are interested in Jaroslav Halak, and the internet tracked the Islanders flight, am I missing anything else?
