New York Islanders forward Anthony Beauvillier stays hot on the road in Arizona with two more goals in the Islanders overtime loss.

Anthony Beauvillier has been on fire since his return from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Once he rejoined the New York Islanders he found his own as it comes to goal scoring and it continued again last night on the road.

Heading into the night Beauvillier had six goals in six games. In the Isles last game in Chicago, Beau had a couple goals to add to New York Islanders dominant win over the Blackhawks.

In his seventh game since he returned yesterday, Beauvillier added two more, the Islanders only two goals of the night. Beauvillier who had just nine goals last year in 66 games has eight in his last seven games. Amazing.

Beau got off the atrocious third line and has been playing with Mathew Barzal since Andrew Ladd went down. That’s more of a factor in my mind, and that’s not meant as a knock on Beau.

Anthony Beauvillier struggled to find a role on this team before being put on the Islanders second line. Now, it looks like he’s found his home. If the Islanders continue to get production from Beau and Barzal together they can’t afford to move him once Ladd is healthy.
