The New York Islanders have Anders Lee, Brock Nelson and Kieffer Bellows participating in Da Beauty League and each scored last night.

If you’re needing a hockey fix in the middle of the summer, Da Beauty League is the perfect thing for you. NHL players join up to play in this league and there are very little defense and a lot of scoring. Plus, the New York Islanders have some players in this league.

Kieffer Bellows, Brock Nelson, and Anders Lee play in the tournament pretty consistently and oddly enough all of them played very well last night.

Kieffer Bellows

Bellows scored his first goal of Da Beauty league season last night. Last year, he played his hockey in the WHL and he finished the season with 41 goals and 74 points. He’ll do his best this fall to make the Isles roster out of camp but it may be difficult due to the crowded forward group.

Brock Nelson

No defense, no physical play, and lots scoring sounds like the perfect game for Brock Nelson. That’s why it’s no surprise that he plays so well in this tournament every year. Nelson netted his eighth of the season and he now leads Da Beauty League in points

Anders Lee

Then there is Anders Lee, who probably doesn’t have to play in this tournament coming off a 40 goal season but Anders lives for the net-front presence life so he does it over the summer months too. Anders netted his third goal of the year there last night.
