The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 73 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.

Despite Valtteri Filppula scoring the game-winning goal in overtime last night for the New York Islanders, the third line has been awfully quiet. Filppula along with Leo Komarov have regressed since their hot start while Michael Dal Colle has been quiet as well.

With Devon Toews’ call up who will be the odd man out when Thomas Hickey comes back? The Isles seem to have a decision to make with Toews, Luca Sbisa, and Adam Pelech.

The Islanders went 0-for-3 on the power play last night, and earlier in the week they went 0-for-6 against the Rangers which cost them a win. What are some options for the Islanders when it comes to improving the power play?
