The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 135 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.

We're in uncharted water folks. It's been eight days since the New York Islanders played a game but the show must go on. The NHL decided to suspend their season due to the coronavirus and the sports world has come to a halt since we spoke last.

Most of the country is practicing social distancing, and working from home including the Isles. It doesn't look like the season is going to start up anytime soon so Mitch and I will discuss the different options they have including plans for the playoffs.

Additionally, we are going to talk about what fans are up to during the break with no hockey and give some creative ideas on what we could talk about in the future. Here's what you can expect from episode 135:

Coronavirus update

Yes, there is no season right now but what is the plan for the 2019-2020 NHL season. Mitch and I will give our takes on what should happen next.

What are you up to?

What are the fans doing in the meantime? We'll chat about what everyone is trying to do during this difficult time.

Mitch is going to quiz me on someone who played 35 games as an Islander. As you'd expect it usually doesn't go very well.
