The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 144 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.

Another week in the quarantine is down, hope you and your family are doing well. On this week’s episode, Mitch and I will be discussing the New York Islanders dynasty as it’s the last team to win four straight championships.

From there, we will be discussing Howie Rose and Adrian Aucoin’s stops in the podcast world and how it relays back to their time with the Isles.

Next, we’ll attempt to put together the best lineup possible for the New Yor Islanders in their history. We’re talking four forward lines, three d-pairs, two goalies, a coach and a GM too.

Here’s what you can expect for episode 144:

Topics

1983 Islanders/Dynasty

The 83 Islanders were the last team in the four major sports to win four straight titles. We will discuss why that will never be broken.

Howie Rose and Adrian Aucoin

Howie sometimes gets unfair treatment because of growing up a Rangers fan, we’ll explain why that’s unfair and then Aucoin hopped on Spittin Chicklets and dropped some great nuggets that we want to share.

All-Time team

From top to bottom we’ll go through and put together the best roster as possible for the Islanders.

Quiz

Mitch is going to quiz me on someone who played 44 games as an Islander. As you’d expect it usually doesn’t go very well.

Social

In the social segment, we’ll answer questions and talk about the biggest stuff from Isles Twitter this past week.
