Islanders Podcast Preview: Ilya Sorokin Signs & Coliseum Update

The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 152 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.

Ilya Sorokin baby! Finally, after chasing the white whale for half a decade, the Islanders were able to sign Ilya Sorokin not once but twice. We’ll discuss both contracts and what it means for the Isles to kick off episode 152.

Barry Trotz also said that training camp will be a competition for the Islanders to see who starts in net. Do we buy it or is it just hockey lip service?

Also, the Oak View Group could take over the Nassau Coliseum to save it. We’ll discuss the likelihood of this happening and on top of that the benefits of Oak View taking over the debt of the building.
