The Eyes on Isles Podcast returns for episode number 171 as Matt and Mitch will discuss all things New York Islanders on and off the ice.
Islanders fans received some sad news today regarding Johnny Boychuk. Due to an eye injury suffered in the playoffs, Boychuk’s career came to a close. He was with the Isles for six seasons and appeared on four playoff teams.
It was a tough way for his career to come to an end, and we will discuss his best moments as an Islander along with the implications to the team and their cap situation.
We’re also going to get into the return to play plan for the 2021 season. There are some playoff ideas and we’ll discuss what would work best for the league and its impact on the Isles going forward.
Lastly, we’ll talk some Michael Dal Colle. Can he surprise in 2021 or will it be more of the same from him before he becomes a restricted free agent again?
