Three games into the season and we have three very different performances from the New York Islanders so far. On opening night, the team was playing at its peak. They fired on all cylinders and shutout the Rangers 4-0.
They followed that up with one of the worst performances of the Barry Trotz era with a 5-0 loss to New York just two days later. Then against Boston they put up a one-goal performance winning 1-0.
What is this team? That’s a question that we will try to breakdown on the podcast this week in episode 179. Also, we want to get into some ice times and what that means for the team.
For example, Noah Dobson, Kieffer Bellows, and Ross Johnston specifically. What does their ice time mean for each one of those three? Mitch also has some info on the prospects that he can break down for us.
