The Islanders have won back-to-back games ending their five-game win streak. With the team set to take on the Penguins tonight at the Nassau Coliseum, we’ll go over some guys for you to watch for in Daily Fantasy.

The goal-scoring has thankfully begun to come back a little bit for the Islanders with names like Jordan Eberle and Anders Lee getting hot. As for Brock Nelson and Josh Bailey, they’re trending in the wrong direction.

Here’s three players I would consider from the Islanders for daily fantasy tonight:

Oliver Wahlstrom

DraftKings: $2,700 | Fanduel: $3,000

This is a gamble, but I’ve loved Wahlstrom’s game so far this year. In the Islanders’ win over the Rangers, he had four shots on goal in just 9:57 of ice time. He’s not getting a ton of reps but he’s getting shots on goal and creating chances.

Sooner rather than later these chances are going to start to fall. Give me Wahlstrom to score a goal tonight.

Semyon Varlamov

DraftKings: $7,800 | Fanduel: $8,000

Is this a costly price for a goalie? Absolutely, but Varlamov has been money for the Islanders all year long. In eight starts he has a .932 save percentage and a 1.87 goals against average. Three of those games were shutouts, so expect his strong play to continue going forward.

Pittsburgh is 20th in the league in scoring, so it’s a good matchup for the Islanders as well.

Jordan Eberle

DraftKings: $5,100 | Fanduel: $5,800

Eberle has been on fire for the Islanders getting the puck into the net five times already. Usually, he’s someone who tends to start slow before turning it on in the second half. Now, with a late start, he’s taking advantage of the chances.

In the 2019 playoffs, Eberle had a field day against the Penguins scoring a goal in each game of the four-game set.
