After a dominant 3-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres, the Islanders are back at it again tonight against Buffalo. Yesterday, I gave you Mat Barzal, Anders Lee, and Oliver Wahlstrom who all came through with a point.

In six of their last eight games, the Islanders have scored 3 goals or more after their awful offensive start. The team seems to be hitting their stride on the back of Mathew Barzal offensively.

Here are three players you should consider playing in daily fantasy today:

Ilya Sorokin

DraftKings: $7,900 | Fanduel: $8,200

Sorokin has just three games so far this year and it’s his first since January 31, but I think we see a breakout performance tonight. The Sabres are coming off a 0 shot performance in the third period last night after having an extended break due to COVID.

Plus, we know how the Islanders play for Barry Trotz in back-to-backs. Expect Sorokin to get the start and give his best effort so far on the season.

Oliver Wahlstrom

DraftKings: $2,500 | Fanduel: $3,000

Yes, I’m still riding the Oliver Wahlstrom train. He picked up an assist last night but he’s been a shot machine for the Islanders recently. In his last four games, he has 13 shots. They’re going to start to fall eventually and I want to be on the right side when they do.

He has a 64.5 high danger chances for percentage. The goals will begin to come, just wait.

Noah Dobson

DraftKings: $4,400  | Fanduel: $3,900

It’s been four games since Noah Dobson has picked up a point but he’s due to snap out of it. After getting just 15 minutes of ice time last night, Dobson’s time should bounce up as I find it hard to believe that Andy Greene will get 19 minutes again in a back-to-back situation.

The Islanders power play has been significantly better as well, which Dobson usually plays out there with Ryan Pulock, so perhaps he’ll be involved in a power play point tonight.
