Islanders: 3 Players To Watch In Daily Fantasy 3-2-21
The Islanders found themselves back in the win column on Saturday evening with a 2-0 win over Pittsburgh. The power play was extremely productive for the Isles yet again as it rose to 25% on the season.
Tonight, the Isles will take on New Jersey, a team they hold a 1-1 record against with four goals over two games. They haven’t played since January 24, and to be completely fair, this is a different Islanders team than we saw in late January.
With that in mind, here are three players to consider playing in daily fantasy for the Islanders:
Oliver Wahlstrom
DraftKings: $2,900 | Fanduel: $3,500
How is he still this cheap! Oliver Wahlstrom has been a point machine with five points in his last four games including two goals in his last three. With his time on the power play, it’s hard to bet against him being productive again.
Keep riding the hot hand and at that value, it’s easy to justify if you need a cheap plug-in.
Nick Leddy
DraftKings: $3,800 | Fanduel: $4,200
Leddy is another one who has been productive lately for the Islanders. He has five points in his last five games from the blue line and is on pace for a career points per game rate. He’s gotten his fair share of chances on the power play filling the role Devon Toews had last year.
Expect his production to continue. Leddy’s averaged 7.1 fantasy points per game this year.
JG Pageau
DraftKings: $5,200 | Fanduel: $4,600
This one also falls into the category of they are hot so keep riding it for as long as you can. Pageau is tied for the team lead in goals on the year with nine (tied with Anders Lee). With three goals in the last four games for Pageau, there’s no denying how good he’s played.

I’m unsure who will start in net, so I’m not playing any of the two goalies today. Wahlstrom, Leddy, and Pageau are my locks for points against New Jersey.
