After two days off, the New York Islanders are back in action against the Washington Capitals. Last time out, the Isles gave the Capitals a 8-4 spanking and got a big-time performance from Mathew Barzal.

Heading into the action tonight, the Isles trail Washington by two points in the standings as each team has played an even 38 games. So far, New York is 1-3 against Barry Trotz’s former team on the season.

Here are three players you can watch for in daily fantasy today:

Mathew Barzal

DraftKings: $6,700 | Fanduel: $6,900

I’m riding the Mat Barzal wave right now. Obviously, I don’t expect him to produce a five-point night like he did last time out against the Caps but when he’s hot, the points and goals usually come in bunches for him.

He’s driving the offense right now, as it should be, so I anticipate Barzal to rise to the competition against a good team like Washington.

Jordan Eberle

DraftKings: $5,300 | Fanduel: $6,200

With four points in his last two games, Eberle is hot right now. I wanted to look for someone who is going to see big minutes with Mat Barzal and right now that’s only Jordan Eberle, as Leo Komarov isn’t a safe play in daily fantasy.

Eberle is in a three-way tie for the lead in goals with 13, sharing the spot with Mat Barzal and Brock Nelson.

Oliver Wahlstrom

DraftKings: $3,700 | Fanduel: $3,400

I want back on the Oliver Wahlstrom train! He’s been quiet lately with no points in his last four games. Since his hot streak began in February, Wahlstrom has yet to go this long without a point so I expect him to snap out of it.

It doesn’t help Wahlstrom, or JG Pageau for that matter, that they’re lugging around Ross Johnston at the moment.
