The Islanders have a gigantic series coming up against the Washington Capitals. Both teams have 62 points at the top of the division and with 10 games left, it’s probably fair to say this series can decide the playoff seeding.
The Isles offense finally came alive against the Rangers on Tuesday, and the hope is that it can continue in this three-game set as Washington leads the league in goals for.
Here are three players you can watch for tonight:
Ilya Sorokin
DraftKings: $7,800 | Fanduel: $8,400
Even though I just finished up saying that the Capitals have the most goals in the league, Ilya Sorokin has been on fire. He’s up to a .922 save percentage and a 2.02 goals against average on the season in 17 starts.
Over his last five games, he has four games over 15 fantasy points. He’s a safe bet to get the start tonight and if he does I fully expect him to continue his run.
Anthony Beauvillier
DraftKings: $3,500 | Fanduel: $4,900
Anthony Beauvillier is as streaky as they get. He’s coming off the performance of his life with four points (1 goal, 3 assists) in his last time out. That game gave him 30.6 fantasy points after having zero the game before in Philly.
I expect the Isles second line to continue their run so I’ll continue to have him in, even though I do think he’s a risky player to play at this point.
Ryan Pulock
DraftKings: $4,900 | Fanduel: $4,500
The goals haven’t been there for Ryan Pulock this year, but man he’s been so good for this team. He’s averaging 22:31 per game, a career-high, and has 15 points over 46 games. He finally got his first goal against the Rangers on April 11, and I’m predicting goal number two on the season tonight.

In 18 career games, Pulock has seven points (1 goal, 6 assists) against the Caps. A clapper from the blue line goes in for Pulock tonight, book it.
