After getting shut out on Thursday night, the Islanders offense will try to come back to life tonight against the Washington Capitals. In six of the Isles last nine games, they’ve scored one goal or less.

I can’t express enough how much of an issue that is as the season winds down. It doesn’t matter how good they are defensively or in the net, you have to score to win games.

With a marquee matchup vs the Washington Capitals tonight, here are three players you can watch for in daily fantasy.

Brock Nelson

DraftKings: $4,100 | Fanduel: $5,800

Brock Nelson has just one goal, and one point, in his last five games but I think he’s a worthwhile play. I trust the second line because at least we know going into tonight who Brock Nelson will be playing with.

Also, on Long Island today it was 65º and sunny. We know Brock thrives on Vitamin D and usually comes alive when the warm weather returns.

Josh Bailey

DraftKings: $3,200 | Fanduel: $4,500

Last time out, Bailey was as quiet as a church mouse but in his return back from injury against the Rangers he was fantastic. Again, I trust that second line so I’m riding him over Anthony Beauvillier at the moment.

In 54 career games against Washington, Bailey has 24 points (6 goals, 18 assists). In the playoffs last year he had six points in five games against Washington as well.

Ilya Sorokin

DraftKings: $8,000 | Fanduel: $8,400

Barry Trotz got me good on Thursday with riding Semyon Varlamov again, but I don’t think he does it again tonight. Sorokin has been phenomenal for the Isles averaging 16.1 fantasy points per game and a .928 sv% and 1.94 goals against average in his last 10 games.

Sorokin has yet to play against Washington in his career, but with Alex Ovechkin likely out that probably makes the job a little easier for him.
