Islanders Podcast Preview: Struggles and Playoff Picture

The New York Islanders are struggling right now. As the season winds down, just three games left, the Isles are limping to the finish line. In their last 10, they hold a 4-4-2 record and have only found success against the Rangers.

With two against the Devils and one against Boston, the Islanders will try to make up ground. They trail Boston by one point, and the Capitals who are in second by three points. We’ll also be taking a look at the potential playoff picture.

We know it’ll be Pittsburgh, Washington, Boston, and the Islanders. What we don’t know is the order. Mitch and I will discuss the potential outcomes and how the team needs to get back on track as well.

Mitch also has some prospect updates for us including an interview with Robin Salo and some Bridgeport Sound Tigers cryptic tweets. Here’s what to expect from episode 194:
