Islanders Podcast Preview: Penguins Series Preview

The New York Islanders are playoff-bound and we know who they will be taking on in the first round of the playoffs this year. It’ll be Islanders vs Penguins, just like in 2019 when the two teams met.

This year, the Isles struggled against the Pens in eight matchups. They went 2-4-2 against them this year with a shootout loss and an OT loss in the mix. This year, New York has been phenomenal with keeping pucks out of the back of the net.

But against Pittsburgh, it’s been an issue. They allowed three goals or more in six of the eight games. They’ll have to clean that up if they want a chance against them. Here’s what to expect from episode 195:
