Through two games of the series against the Boston Bruins, it’s all tied up at one heading back to the Nassau Coliseum. In Game 1, the Islanders let Boston’s dominant top line take over late in the game.
Before Game 2, the Isles made the switch back to Semyon Varlamov who was very good and will likely start again in Game 3. Also, we’ll have to get into a deep dive on Anthony Beauvillier.
For some reason, he continues to be a different guy in the playoffs and the Isles are riding that line through eight games so far. Here is what you can expect from episode 198:
We’ll get into where we are through two games. Was it enough to steal one on the road and how does switching back to Semyon Varlamov impact the rest of the series.
Beau has been unbelievable through eight playoff games. We’ll get into what he’s meant to the Isles in the playoffs during his career.
