Eyes on Isles is back with another podcast episode to break down the New York Islanders free agency frenzy. Free Agency is always a hectic day in the NHL world so Mitch and I will record our reaction to the day, tonight.

It appears like Kyle Palmieri and Zach Parise are being signed as UFA’s and at the time of writing this, they’re working with Casey Cizikas. Again, it’s called frenzy for a reason so things can change rapidly.

Zach Parise has been rumored to join the Islanders ever since he’s been bought out and ever since Jordan Eberle went to Seattle, retaining Palmieri seemed all but locked in.

Also, Mitch will break down the draft and talk about what he learned from his conversations with the newest Islanders from the 2021 draft class. Here’s what you can expect from episode 206:

Topics

Free Agency Frenzy

What happened for the Islanders today, what can happen for them down the line, and news from around the league

Draft/Down on the Farm

Here we will talk about the 2021 draft class and Mitch will share what he learned from his conversations with the new prospects.

Quiz

On the quiz, Mitch will pick a random player in Islanders history and I have to try to guess who that player is based on five clues. It’s usually a blast.

Social

In the social segment, we’ll answer questions and talk about the biggest stuff from Isles Twitter this past week.
