It’s been another slow week in New York Islanders land but that doesn’t mean that we’re going anywhere. The Eyes on Isles podcast will return this week, as usual, we’re just going to get a little creative.

First, Mitch and I are going to get into a redraft. Looking at 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014 we will go through and discuss what the Islanders could’ve done differently in the first round of the NHL draft.

Also, we’re going to get into an Anthony Beauvillier rumor and why it doesn’t seem to make too much sense. No, I don’t anticipate Beau getting the Devon Toews treatment from Lou Lamoriello.

Lastly is Down on the Farm, where Mitch will give us updates on Isles prospects from around the globe. Here’s what you can expect from episode 210:

Topics

Redrafting

In 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014 Garth Snow had some early picks that he could’ve taken advantage of. He failed miserably, and we’ll look back at what could’ve gone differently for them.

Beau Rumors

Anthony Beauvillier isn’t getting traded to Ottawa. We will discuss the rumors and why it doesn’t make sense for him to be shipped out.

Down on the Farm

Mitch is going to get into what happened this week for Islanders prospects and also talk about his latest top-five prospect exercise.

Quiz

On the quiz, Mitch will pick a random player in Islanders history and I have to try to guess who that player is based on five clues. It’s usually a blast.

Social

In the social segment, we’ll answer questions and talk about the biggest stuff from Isles Twitter this past week.
