The New York Islanders got back in the win column last night with a pretty decisive 3-0 win over Arizona. Now, just a little over 24 hours later, they will take on the Vegas Golden Knights on their extended road trip.

Barry Trotz changed up the lines last night which seemed to be a factor in the Isles bouncing back offensively. The second line was much better and Ilya Sorokin was solid in net for the third game in a row. The question becomes if they will ride him again tonight or go to Corey Schneider instead.

Tonight, the Isles will face a familiar face in Robin Lehner. So far, Lehner is off to a slow start at just 1-3-0 with a .901 save percentage and a 3.58 goals against average.

Two points through four games is not where Vegas anticipated they’d be to start the season. They’re just 27th in goals for on the season and they rank 19th in goals against so far with a slow start in net from Lehner.

This will be a good test for the Islanders tonight to see if they’re ready to hang with the good teams on the road or if their slow start is still continuing.
