We’re back for episode 220 of the Eyes on Isles Podcast. Since the last time we spoke, the Islanders only played one game. That’s going to happen with an extended road trip but it’s not like we have a ton of new storylines to hit.

Their one game was an overtime loss to the Nashville Predators, a game in which they probably should’ve won. We’ll hit on that briefly and then get into the good, the bad, and the ugly of the season so far.

The team has a five-game point streak, which is good obviously, but it hasn’t been perfect so far. We’ll also get into if it’s time to hit the panic button or why any kind of panic at this point is likely premature.

Here’s what you can expect from episode 220 of the Eyes on Isles Podcast:

Topics

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

The Isles have just seven games under their belt at this point in the year sitting at 3-2-2. We’ll get into what’s been a positive, a negative, and then a concern so far in the 2021-2022 season.

Down on the Farm

Mitch will share his prospect news including stat updates, storylines, and conversations with players and teams that he may have encountered in the past week.

Quiz

On the quiz, Mitch will pick a random player in Islanders history and I have to try to guess who that player is based on five clues. It’s usually a blast.

Social

In the social segment, we’ll answer questions and talk about the biggest stuff from Isles Twitter this past week.
