The New York Islanders (20-20-7), currently riding a three-game winning streak, are set to host the Carolina Hurricanes (30-16-3) at UBS Arena. Face-off is set for 7:30 PM EST. The Islanders have been in impressive form, winning six of their last eight games, and will look to continue their momentum against a Hurricanes team that will have a new look following Friday night's blockbuster three-way trade.

The Islanders' recent success has been fueled by strong defensive play and timely scoring. In their latest victory, a 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers, Anthony Duclair and Bo Horvat scored 55 seconds apart late in the first period, while goaltender Ilya Sorokin made 29 saves to secure the win. Meanwhile, the Canes have won four straight, including a 7-4 win over Columbus on Thursday night.

Hurricanes' New Additions
