The NY Islanders are incentivizing fans to commit to season tickets for the 2025-26 season, adding more perks than ever before.

Under the tight-lipped, old-school mentality of Lou Lamoriello, much of what went on outside of games was a mystery to fans.

New incentives for season ticket holders

There was no rookie camp, and player availability to podcasts was essentially zero. Even replays on the Jumbotron were rare.

However, with Mathieu Darche in charge, things are trending in a direction that is more fan-friendly, providing access to players off the ice.

This upcoming season, season ticket holders will be invited to a BBQ with the players, have access to training camp, access to morning skate, and participate in-person chalk talks with Darche and Patrick Roy.

For those who were looking to purchase season tickets right before the opening of UBS, many were placed on a waiting list because of such high demand. Now, for many fans, it seems we’re receiving a call from an Islanders ticket rep daily, as it seems many have dropped their season tickets.

Incentives like the ones the Isles are now offering are a terrific way to bring more fans into the arena on a consistent basis, while adding more experiences that could be more memorable than attending the games.

With the potential additions of Matthew Schaefer and Cal Ritchie to this season's roster, as well as prospects like Victor Eklund, Kashawn Aitcheson, and Cole Eiserman potentially joining next season, the fan base has plenty to look forward to heading into the future.
