The 2023 NHL Awards ceremony (8 pm ET (TNT, Sportsnet, TVA Sports) is scheduled for tonight at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, with two New York Islanders nominated as finalists to take home a trophy. A total of 11 awards will be announced Monday night, with the Jim Gregory GM of the Year award presented during the first round of the NHL Draft on Wednesday. The league is in "Music City," so it's fitting that country music star Dierks Bentley is hosting.

Goaltender Ilya Sorokin is a finalist for the first time to win the Vezina Trophy, awarded to the league's top goaltender. Boston netminder Linus Ullmark is the favorite after the Bruins' record-setting regular season. Connor Hellebuyck of the Winnipeg Jets is a finalist for the third time. The Vezina recipient is selected by the league's general managers.

Meanwhile, captain Anders Lee is up for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, awarded "to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community." Mikael Backlund of the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers Darnell Nurse are the other finalists.
