. Mike Cammalleri. F. Cammalleri has been a good soldier for a terrible terrible New Jersey team. Last season wasn’t a great one, where he scored only 31 points in 61 games played and with a $5 million cap hit it’s understandable to see why the Devils didn’t protect him. He’s years removed from the 82 point player he was in 2008-09, but getting someone who can net 45-50 points and help the young crop of rookies that are about to head to Vegas is a great move.. D. It’s been a while since Del Zotto was putting up 30-40 points in a season. But he’s only 26 -years-old. He’s just entering his prime years as a defender in the NHL. He’s young and could be had for a fairly cheap price. His expired ELC worth $852,000 on the cap will be upgraded, but something between $1.5 million to $2 million per year would be a nice fit.
