For the second year in a row, the New York Islanders will be at home during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Let’s look at the reactions from the elimination.

It’s Elimination Day ladies and gents. Last night the New York Islanders were officially eliminated from the playoffs. After a restless night of mulling over all the gutwrenching things that occurred to the Islanders in 2017-2018, it’s time to begin our post-elimination emotional phase.

This is a team that had an almost 100 percent chance of making the playoffs, and also a team that had the highest percentage at winning the Stanley Cup at one point this season.

I wanted to share some of the best tweet reactions to being officially eliminated. Remember, we’re all in this together:

The next date of importance is April 28, when the draft lottery is announced and we find out where the Islanders will pick. Until then, we’re “Fallin’ for Dahlin”. Thanks for following along with us throughout the year, and we’ll have more coverage of course for their final six games. Remember we’re all in this together…
