We’re down to the final four teams in NCAA Men’s Hockey, or as it is better known, the Frozen Four.

With only three games to play in the season, NY Islanders prospects Cole Eiserman and Kamil Bednarik are in crunch time as they’re only two wins away from hoisting the National Championship for Boston University.

The Frozen Four begins tonight

After earning the two seed in their region, the Terriers defeated Ohio State in round one, blowing out the Buckeyes 8-3, with Eiserman pitting two goals and Bednarik adding an assist. In their second matchup, they took on Cornell in a much more contested matchup. The Terriers outlasted Cornell in OT by a score of 3-2 to advance to the Frozen Four in St. Louis.

Now, BU will take on Penn State at 8:30 tonight , a team in the Frozen Four for the first time.

Eiserman has shown up in big moments for both BU and Team USA and the World Junior Championship, scoring big goals when it matters most.

Though Bednarik hasn’t lit up the scoresheet, he’s been a terrific distributor and reliable on all parts of the ice.

“It’s been a lot of fun, being at BU has been great,” Eiserman told ESPN’s John Buccigross. “A lot of good fans, a lot of good games. It’s a lot of fun. It’s college hockey so it’s a lot of fun. I can feel the game growing and college hockey growing.”

It’s unknown whether Eiserman will look to turn pro after this season but for now, his eyes are only on bringing a National Championship back to BU.
