It seems like every weekend we're praising the play of NY Islanders prospects Quinn Finley and Cole Eiserman and this week is no different. Both wingers found the back of the net in their weekend set, each showing off their impressive one-timers.

Finley got it done against a school close to his future home, scoring last night against Long Island University. After Wisconsin defeated the Sharks 6-3 on Friday night where Finley recorded two assists, he opened the scoring last night, giving the Badgers the advantage on the scoreboard 15:35 into the game.

Eiserman and Finley continue to impress

The Former USHL star received a pass near the right dot, unloading on a shot that beat the goaltender on the short side.

With his 18th goal of the season, Finley is tied for the nation's lead with Tampa Bay Lightning 2022 first-round pick Isaac Howard of Michigan State. Finley also trails Howard by three points for most in the country, and is firmly in contention for the Hobey Baker Award, given to the nation's top player.

Eiserman continues to shine in his freshman campaign, leaving plenty of NHL General Managers to wonder if they made a mistake in allowing the sniper to fall to the Islanders at 20th overall last summer.

Trailing by one against New Hampshire, Eiserman used his greatest asset to even the game up at one in the second period, rifling one home from almost an identical spot as Finley. The tally was Eiserman's 13th of the season, leading Boston University and setting the pace for all NCAA freshman

β€œI think my mindset never changes with the goal scoring,” Eiserman told Ethan Sears of the NY Post. β€œI think it’s always on my mind. I always want to do it every shift I’m out there. For me in the college game, as you go up in levels, your opportunity to score every game is limited. For me, it’s being as sharp as I can mentally."

Both Islanders' prospects have been more impressive than most could have imagined and should be in contention for plenty of post-season accolades.
