We're now in the midst of College Hockey's version of March Madness, with the NCAA Tournament around the corner. As the season is winding down, one big question has been ringing through the heads of NY Islanders fans: How did Cole Eiserman drop to No. 20?
As if Eiserman wasn't having an outstanding freshman campaign at Boston University, he added to his resume this evening, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime in the quarterfinals of the Hockey East Tournament.
Eiserman lights the lamp in OT
The No. 3 ranked Terriers hosted UMASS at Agganis Arena in Boston. Eiserman found his name on the score sheet early, earning the primary assist off the stick of NJ Devils prospect Shane Lachance, who scored on the power play 5:14 into the game.

The two sides exchanged goals with nothing seperating the two after 60 minutes.
Eiserman wasted no time in the extra frame, scoring 2:59 into overtime to send the Terriers to the quarter-finals.
Receiving the puck in the neutral zone, Eiserman skated down the left wall on a 2-on-1, but elected to shoot himself, leaving the goaltender unable to stop the elite wrist shot.
Eiserman has scored some massive goals this season, including a goal against Canada in the World Junior Championship, and the nail in the coffin against rivals Boston College in the Beanpot Finals.
Even Eiserman's teammates have acknowledged the elite shot the 18-year-old possesses. "It's f****** tough to stop, I think that's the only way to put it," said Trey Augustine, goaltender for Team USA.
Eiserman has 21 goals through 34 games this season and will look to add to his total on Thursday night as the Terriers look to advance to the Hockey East Finals.
